The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 1,078.60 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 1093.60 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 1.37 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 9.52 per cent at Rs 9,423.10 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 8,603.90 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 11.04 per cent to Rs 7,904.10 crore from Rs 7,118.30 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 8.04 per cent at Rs 227.10 crore versus (Mar'24 Rs 210.20 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 2.25 per cent to Rs 1,519.00 crore as against Rs 1,485.60 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 6.66 per cent in March quarter.
Interest grew by 3.79 per cent y-o-y to Rs 65.80 crore, while Taxation increased by 14.00 per cent at Rs 373.00 crore (Mar'24 Rs 327.20 crore).
