Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty bounced back from early losses to close modestly higher on Friday, as investors resumed buying in select blue-chip stocks available at attractive, beaten-down levels.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 84562.78 up by 84.11 points or by 0.1 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25910.05 up by 30.9 points or by 0.12 %.
