Benchmark indices extended gains for a third straight session on Tuesday, with the Sensex surging around 753 points and the Nifty 50 closing above the 24,550 mark.
The rally was supported by easing crude oil prices and improving sentiment amid expectations of progress in ongoing Iran–US peace discussions.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 79273.33 up by 753.03 points or by 0.96 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24576.6 up by 211.75 points or by 0.87 %.
