Market benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty rebounded on Monday following a sharp decline in crude oil prices amid easing tensions in the West Asia.

At 10:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 76528.22 up by 468.45 points or by 0.62 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23915.9 up by 148.45 points or by 0.62 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 76715.64 and intraday low of 76517.85 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23964.5 and intraday low of 23896.7

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 289.35,+3.34%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1074.50,+3.22%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2713.15,+2.84%), InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (Rs. 5124.80,+2.81%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2305.00,+2.27%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 286.95,-0.47%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1762.00,-0.35%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 740.30,-0.31%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1894.00,-0.27%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 384.25,-0.12%), among others.
