The Sensex and Nifty 50 traded marginally higher in early deals, with market sentiment getting some support from reports that the US and Iran are discussing a possible framework to bring the conflict to an end. Hopes of easing geopolitical tensions provided a mild boost to investor sentiment.

At 9:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 73592.25 up by 11.71 points or by 0.02 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23083.1 up by 20 points or by 0.09 %.
