The Sensex and Nifty were trading volatile on Friday after an initial recovery, as elevated crude oil prices, higher US Treasury yields and continued selling pressure in IT stocks weighed on market sentiment.

At 10:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 73655.48 up by 74.94 points or by 0.1 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23080.75 up by 17.65 points or by 0.08 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 73800.94 and intraday low of 73477.77 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23121.6 and intraday low of 23030
